Lary was born in Dallas, Tx, and grew up in Wheatridge, CO. He has had a very interesting life--college in southern California, a Ph. D. in Anatomy/Neurobiology in St. Louis, a professor in Philadelphia, further schooling in Houston.

He traveled to Japan, Brazil, and South Africa for research, business on ministry. Lary first came to Kansas City in 1989.

Lary left for South Africa in January 2004 and is currently in the town of Pretoria.

Lary tied the knot on May 1, 2005 with the lovely Mrs. Louise Andrews.
