Hi! My name is Ted Voigt, and I am honored to be serving at Saint Luke as the new Director of Youth
Ministries. I am 22 years old, I have a degree in "Outdoor Adventure and Christian Education" from Penn
State, which I finished in December of 2004. Before coming to Saint Luke church, I worked as the Youth Director
at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist in Jackson, Tennessee. I was working for them on a temporary basis while
my then-fiancee Sarah was finishing school. She completed not one but TWO degrees at Lambuth University in
May, and we were married on May 26th, 2005. We moved to the Kansas City area because she will be attending Seminary
at the Nazarene Theological Seminary starting in September 2005.
My Passion for youth has lead me in several directions over the years, and I am excited that I am
here to work with the youth of Saint Luke. I'm looking forward to a great year, and hopefully with
