The Media Ministry is a tool to aid the mission of St. Luke under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

The media ministry is a team of dedicated volunteers with various interests and skills.  During worship services we use video support for music, readings, scripture, sermon notes, and periodically use montage presentations for meditation focus.  We display announcements in queue prior to service.  Our youth program also has video capabilities for lessons, songs and entertainment.  We have experience with Power Point and Easy Worship.  We will enthusiastically advance our capabilities and services as God provides.

Education

The Education Committee is responsible for the Sunday School Department - providing resources and training to teachers as well as recruiting teachers from our congregation;  assist and advice the Youth Group Activities with Ken Remmert, our Youth Director; and we provide classes for ongoing spiritual growth among our community (for youth as well as adults). 

Church Life/Evangelism

This committee is responsible for fellowship times within the congregation. Some of our activities include coffee on Sunday mornings, potluck dinners, Easter breakfast, steak fries and other times of fellowship. We have also organized functions away from our church facilities.

We are responsible for evangelism activities, which have included training in various evangelism methods. We have given our church informational folders that are available for visitors.

Team Table, Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries (MLM) and other outreach organizations are a part of our committee work.

We also over see the nursery staff.
