Kansas City on June 15th 2004
The Saint Luke family is richly blessed by the visit from Lary. He arrived in Kansas City on June 15th and was here only briefly until traveling north of Duluth, Minnesota for his daughter’s, Tammy, wedding. Other ventures of his time in the states include a meeting at PCUSA offices in Louisville, KY with three world evangelism leaders, and presenting a featured talk at the Vision for Life Conference in Dallas, TX.
We welcomed Lary to the pulpit for both services on July 11th as he led us to understand how God’s glory is expressed in our joy. Following a fellowship dinner Lary presented slides and videos he has prepared as he shared many aspects of his ministry in South Africa. We were inspired to reevaluate our lives, priorities and attitudes in contentment and purpose.
Lary will return to South Africa on Friday, July 16th. We
continue
to pray for his health, visual concerns, and ministry needs.
