Jubilee Kickoff and balloon launch.    Sunday, Feb. 4

Regular 8:30 and 11:00 services with a balloon launch after each service. During the services we will begin the Parable of the Talents experiment with over 50 members receiving either $5 or $50 which they will "multiply" in some creative way and the results of their work will be donated to charity.

Night of st. luke stars.    Saturday, Feb. 24

Our version of the "Oscars" complete with Church mice awards, lifetime achievement, people's choice and more. You are a Star! Yes, you! Saturday, February 24 is your night. Come enjoy a wonderful finger food buffet and fellowship at 6:00 p.m. The awards ceremony will follow in the fellowship hall. We will also be honoring approximately 130 saints who passed away as members of the church or were dear friends of our congregation. Come and honor these folks to with a special power-point presentation. Please phone the church office 816-453-3741 if you need babysitting for this evening so that we can properly staff our nursery. Plan to be present and make a very special memory at the Night of St. Luke Stars.

Family Food and Feud.   Saturday May 5

Favorite church cooks will be preparing special food followed by a rousing match between two church families. This promises to be a memorable night of fun, fellowship and fabulous food.

The revealing of the Talents.   Saturday, Sept. 22

A one-hour celebration of the results of the Parable of the Talents Experiment. Several people will share their creative ideas of how they increased their "talents".

Jubilee Finale Service, catered meal and fellowship.   Sunday, Sept. 23

A combined service will be held in the Grand Hall of Finnegan's Banquet facility in North Kansas City (formerly Gold Buffet). It will be followed by a catered meal (by reservation only) and then a time of fellowship as we unveil the Jubilee memory books. Special activities and nursery care will be available for the children during the fellowship time.

Finale Service Sunday,   December 30

A final power point presentation and video will be shown at both morning services to culminate the entire year in photos.
